During the fourth quarter of 2021, the performance of the top 5 news and magazines apps in Colombia reflected diverse trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into these metrics.

NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from a modest 62 in the first week of November and reaching approximately 66K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from 12 in early November to nearly 89K in the final week of December.

NewsBreak Lite, despite being a newer app, also showed significant activity. Weekly downloads peaked at around 62K in mid-November before tapering off to roughly 2.5K by the end of December.
